How to Convert RPM to Speed?

To calculate speed from RPM (Revolutions Per Minute), we need to determine how far the wheel travels in one full rotation and then calculate how fast it covers that distance per unit of time.

Formula for Speed Calculation

The speed of a rotating wheel can be determined using the following formula:

Speed (m/s) = RPM × Circumference / 60

Speed (km/h) = Speed (m/s) × 3.6

Speed (mph) = Speed (m/s) × 2.237

Where:
